3D Print & Scan

Builtlayer bylayer.

3D printers, a 3D scanner and a wall shelf full of filament. That’s all I need.

Step one: an idea

Every part starts as an idea. I model it from scratch or scan the real thing first, then print it. Whatever it’s for.

The big boy

Bambu Lab H2D

Two nozzles and two AMS 2 Pro. Large parts and two materials in one single print.

The precise one

Bambu Lab X1 Carbon

With AMS for multi-colour prints. The go-to machine for fine details and flexible TPU parts.

The indestructible

Bambu Lab P1S

With AMS. The workhorse that simply keeps on printing, day after day.

Time-lapse

Hours of printing.
Watch them grow.

Every part on this site grew like this, one layer at a time.

Materials

From basic PLA and PETG to ABS, ASA, TPU, PA6 nylon and PPS-CF, for toughness, strength, UV and heat resistance. Each part gets its matching filament.

3D scanning

Measure once.
Fit first time.

The scanner

EinScan Rigil Liteby Shining 3D

Scanner, display, computer and battery in one handheld device, with no laptop and no cables. That is why I chose the EinScan Rigil Lite: I can pick it up and start scanning straight away. It scans with laser or infrared and works without markers. Once cleaned up, the scans go straight into Fusion 360 or Blender, where they become the basis for new parts.

Idea in.
Part out.

Parts for cars and PC mods, tools for the workshop, and the odd thing that is just for fun.
