How it came about

The rear seats of the TT are long gone. This printed kit fills the space in Clubsport style: a frame with an open grid where the backrest used to be.

It is my winter project for 2026/27 and will be finished in 2027, if everything works the way I have it in my head ;)

From scan to model

The rear footwell was scanned first: around 20 million points. On top of that scan I modelled the seat delete: a smooth surface in Clubsport style, split into print-sized segments.

Underneath, two carbon tubes run across the frame, held in TPU sleeves. The feet of the supports are TPU as well, so nothing rattles.
