How it came about

The opening above the grille of the TT 8J is just a plain black slot. This insert fills it with a honeycomb mesh that picks up the TT-RS grille below and carries the IBEX logo.

A quick orange test print checked the fit first. The finished part exists in black and in lime; the lime one matches the brake calipers.
