How it came about

The Light Base 500 LX leaves the radiator at the top of the case in plain view. This cover hides it behind two printed panels, one along the side and one across the front. Magnets hold them together, so there are no screws to see.

Two pieces. No screws.

Held by magnets.

The side panel and the front panel meet in the corner. Magnets set into both pieces pull them together, and the cover comes off again just as easily.

Lettering and circuits.

The long face carries the lettering, printed in colour as part of the panel. The front has a circuit trace a few tenths of a millimetre deep that only shows when the lighting falls across it at an angle.
