How it came about

This part took the longest: five months and several revisions. The current version has no mounting holes at all, so nothing interrupts the surface. You can tell it apart by the small tab at the top right.

Five months for a floor.

Fans and nothing else.

Three round openings for the bottom fans. Everything around them stays closed, so the floor of the case looks like one piece.

Two versions.

The square cutout above the fans sits where the case has its own opening, so the 12VHPWR cable can run straight up to the graphics card. If you route that cable another way or build without a graphics card, the closed plate covers the opening.
